Mechanism of Styrene and HBr/H2O2
« on: May 11, 2012, 11:30:52 AM »
Hi
I have a problem
In Styrene, C6H5-C1H=C2H2
C1 has δ+ due to Phenyl group, in H2O2, HBr reacts to Styrene by AR
So the primary product is C6H5-CH2-CH2Br

Is that right ?
Thanks
