Hello,

I have a reaction that I found electronic effects playing important roles. I hope to get more insights into the reaction mechanism. Hence, I am going to focus on finish a Hammet plot according to its equation:

log(k_x/k_H) = p x sigma value

I am planning to use real-time UV instruments to measure the reaction rate.  My question is how to determine the rate constant k using kinetic experiments.
