Distillation of monopropylenglycol (MPG) and water
« on: May 15, 2012, 12:31:58 AM »
Hello everyone,

just a simple question. Is it possible to distillate a mixture of MPG a water? If so, what would be the best? Thank you

What is the boiling point of MPG? What is the boiling point of water?

Is it? I haven't been able to find a mixed phase diagram, but as far apart as the boiling parts are, I would be surprised to find an azeotrope. At least, not one that was less than 99% in one of the two components.
