Alprozolam - Suspending in Solvent
« on: November 25, 2005, 07:39:10 PM »
What would be the best solvent to use for suspending pure raw material Alprazolam powder in?  This would be for human, oral consumption.  I have a few questions that go along with this topic too.

1.  What solvent would yield a suspension or possibly a solution for the Alprazolam powder?

2.  What solvent, if any, would not degrade the potency of the Alprazolam powder or alter its chemical structure?

3.  I was thinking of using Paddock Labs Ora-Blend.  Would that work?  Also what would be the 'shelf-life' so to speak and would Ora-Blend work just fine to suspend the Alprazolam powder in?

4.  Or to keep it very easy, could I just simply use 80 proof Bacardi Rum as a solvent?  Would this work just fine other than having a very harsh taste?

5.  Also, could I use 80 proof Bacardi Rum and dilute it down with distilled water and if so what is the lowest percentage alcohol per unit could I use to still have a decent suspension?

Thanks in advance for any *delete me*
