"Perstannic acid corresponds with the unknown peroxide SnO3. By grinding stannic hydroxide with 30 per cent H2O2 at 70C and drying the residue, HSnO4,2H2O is obtained ; if dried at 100C H2Sn2O7,3H2O is formed. By treating a stannate in the same way perstannates, e.g. KSnO4,2H2O, are formed (Tanatar, 1905)."
