MOlar basis
« on: August 16, 2012, 06:22:14 AM »
Hi guys.. I have a mixture with compositions 55% methane, 32% propane and 13% butane. I know the molecular weight of mixture is 30.53 kg/kmol. I want to know if I can find the mass of each component in mixture or molar mass?

You can express the composition as weight %. You can't give the mass of a component not knowing total mass of the mixture.
