A little googling for "gunpowder ebook" should lead you to any number of documents, some historical, some technical, and some just plain crazy. You'll find that the chemical properties are well known. I don't suspect the electrical properties are a very diverse topic -- a mostly nonconductive mixture gets hot and ignites.
Generally, we don't allow topics on explosives unless they're very theoretical. And we also prefer threads that have a definite topic, with complete, thought-out, questions in them. So I'm going to lock this thread, and if you still have questions, you can ask again, trying to follow our rules.
