pinuki:  your question is too incomplete for a meaningful answer, and asking it on two different subforums won't help.  Rephrasing it as a complete thought will help, and you should do that in this thread.

You're positive, are you, that the O.P. isn't talking about a nitrogen gas leak pushing away all available oxygen gas from a local area.

Or using nitrogen to purge a reaction vessel when you want to run the reaction in an inert gas?
