Reagent Observation Data Website
« on: September 20, 2012, 03:18:33 PM »
Hi,
Is there a website where I type in the reagent’s name and the on-line data base will tell me in words or provide pictures how the reagents should look like i.e. color, texture, smell, etc.?  Thank you.
I have completed my Intro Organic Chem II lab.  I didn’t realize in the procedure table I have to summarize the lab manual procedure and indicate observations of the reagents before they underwent chem rxns.  I didn’t write down my reagent’s initial observation and I forgot how they appeared.

You can also find this information in the CRC or The Concise Chemical Dictionary, which are available in the university library
