The Year IUPAC assigned names to chemical elements
« on: October 03, 2012, 10:50:43 PM »
I emailed IUPAC with this question: What is the year that IUPAC assigned the names to each of the chemical elements. They responded saying there is no such listing.

Does anyone know if such a list exists?

Also

Does anyone know anyone at IUPAC who can get them moving on this much needed information?

Sure they have nothing better to do then to compile it.

I don't think it is "much needed". To some extent it can be interesting.
