Can someone lay down a formula for me so I can do the calculation for this question?

A 1.12 g sample of silver ore was dissolved in acid.  The solution was treated with an excess of CI¯.  The precipitate was collected, dried, and found to have a mass of 0.185 g.  What was the percent of Ag in the ore?

Ag+ + Cl- --> AgCl
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

(0.185/143.32)x107.87x100/1.12=12.43 %
