Boltzmann constant and universal gas constant...
« on: December 31, 2005, 11:59:43 PM »
I understand how the universal gas constant is simply the Boltzmann constant multiplied by Avogadro's number and the Boltzmann constant is the universal gas constant divided by Avogadro's number, but how is it that these constants were initially determined?

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
