I want to start building a lab equipment set at home. The best way for me to pay is PayPal, but I'm having a hard time finding good places to order from.

I'd prefer to avoid using eBay, since after hours of searching I couldn't find anything that pleases me.

Look for a company called "American Science and Surplus"  They have all kinds of stuff, including glassware

Is there a University around you? Talk to the Chemistry Dept. storekeeper. Labs usually have old of stuff they want to get rid of or are selling away at junk prices.

There is a lot of good stuff on ebay. I once bought a bunch for 6$ used. Once, i bought a distillation set for 299$ new.
