Connect AMINEs with HYDROXYL groups
« on: October 28, 2012, 09:14:49 PM »
Question 1: Do you know of any relative organic synthesis ways of connecting HYDROXYL groups with primary/secondary amines? The amines can me monoamines and polyamines. I tried a method by converting the hydroxyl groups to halide and then to amines, however this method did not work for polyamines.

Your help is much appreciated

Do you know of a way of synthesizing branched amines from hydroxyl groups/mono amines/monohalides?

Can you draw please? It is not clear what kind of structure you are aiming for.
My research: Google Scholar and Researchgate
