Hess's law

Calculate the Heat of Vaporization for ethanol (C2H5OH) using the following data:

C2H5OH(L)---->C2H5OH(G)                                                H=??

H2O(L)+ 2/3 CO2(G) -------------> 1/3 C2H5OH(L) + O2(G)     H=457
H2O(L) --------------------------> H2O(G)                          H=44
CO(G)--------------------------->C(S) + 1/2 O2(G)              H=110
CO(G) +1/2 O2 (G) --------------> CO2(G)                           H=-284
2C(S) +3 H2(G)  + 1/2 O2(G) ----> C2H5OH(G)                       H=-238
H2(G) + 1/2 O2 (G) -------------> H2O (G)                           H=-242


SO THOSE ARE THE EQUATIONS, WHEN I DID IT, I GOT THE ANSER OF 37KJ FOR DELTA H, IS THAT CORRECT?

2C + H2 -----> C2H2                      H=?

CaO + H2O -----> Ca(OH)2              H= -65.5
CaO + 3C -------> CaC2 + CO          H= 464.1
CaC2 + 2H2O ---> Ca(OH)2              H= -126
2C + O2 --------> 2CO                    H= -221.8
2H20 ---------- > 2H2 + O2             H= 573.7

I did this solution and I got H=227.65
am i correct?

Did you make a typo? I don't see a C2H2 anywhere other than your 1st eqn.
