Electron Configuration

I'm really confused on this question:

Using molecular orbital (MO) model, what is the electron configuration of He and C2?

Check here:  https://www.google.com/search?q=C2+Orbital&hl=de&client=firefox-a&hs=NS4&tbo=u&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=1om4UKaMMIG88ATlg4CACg&ved=0CE0QsAQ&biw=1052&bih=776

Thanks.

So, I think the answers 1sσ 1sσ* 2sσ 2sσ* 2pπ 2pσ 2pπ* 2pσ*, but I'm still unsure on how to get to that answer.  Do I have to draw a Lewis Dot Structure?

And...He = 1sσ 1sσ* ?
