Phase changes
« on: December 10, 2012, 10:11:46 PM »
How many grams of ice would need to melt to cool down 174g of liquid water from 30.5C to 4.0C?  (ΔHvap = 40.7 kj/mol, ΔHfus = 6.01 kj/mol, Cs solid = 2.10 J/gC, Cs liquid = 4.184, Cs gas = 1.89.

Any help would be very appreciated! :)
