Right idea, but take it one step at a time. The bis-anion you have drawn is not sensible in the presence of a base as weak as acetate.

Also check the mechanisms of substitution at carbonyl compounds (e.g. ester hydrolysis) - SN2, as you have drawn, does not occur.
