How calculate Sodium Metabisulfite ppm?

sorry i dono is this right forum to ask this question or no :)

I want to produce some Sour orange Juice (1000 Liter) i know i have to add some Sodium Metabisulfite in , could you please helpme to calculate Sodium Metabisulfite ppm , how many gram i have to add in 1000 Liter ?

1 ppm = 1 mg / L

My keen math skills tell me that to produce 1000 L of a 1 ppm solution, you will need 1 mg x 1000 = 1 g!  ;)
