This the second of the three excercises I need to answer. Please if somebody can help me; Karma will bless you (Or may be universe equilibrium o whatever yo call it xP).

I have an idea of this, but it will be of GREAT help if someone can write it to me.

Although NaOCH3 will react with both reactants, but that will be a fast reaction that returns the same reactants. It will also react more slowly with one of these reactants (an acid-base reaction) that can irreversibly lead to a new product. What is that reaction?
