Simple question for chemist..
« on: February 17, 2013, 09:45:14 PM »
Hello All! My name is Chelsea. I am making some home cleaning products for natural moms in my area. I am needing some help.. I have a kitchen cleaner that works wonderfully, but after a few days it starts to crystallize on the sides of the container and inside the straw. Borax, baking soda, and lemon juice are the 'active' ingredients. I am guessing that the sugar from the lemon juice is doing that. Is/are there any natural product/s that I can add to stop this from happening?

Thanks in advance!

Any or all of the components of your mixture can be contributions to the crystals you're seeeing.  See if these threads fill the topic out for you:

Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
