Detecting Estradiol in sample

Hello everyone so i have a question about detecting E2 in sample lets say in inject-able oil based meds i just need to know has it estradiol or not i don't need to know exactly how much though
 is it even possible?

Some of the older organic chemistry texts start out with a simple ID test for each general class of organic molecule, and a textbook will often describe the various large biomolecules in the later chapters of the textbook.  However, estradiol is a large complex molecule, and quick identification may not be easy.  You may have to really analyze for structure.

What do you know about the structure of estradiol that you will have to test for?  What application do you need it for?  Warning:  all steroid hormones are subject to possible abuse by "juicers", and this is not a kiddie druggie forum.  Check the rules for this forum please.  They're posted in red, at the top of each page.
