Hi, I don't know how to do this question, I think it's about redox but I'm not sure. Does anyone how how to answer it?
"Carry out a step-by-step analysis of the electron transfer steps:
MnO2(s) + HCl(aq) -> Mn^2+(aq) + Cl2(g)? "
Thanks!

Just ry to balance it using whatever method you know - and list steps you did. Electron transfer will be one of them.
