Glucose
« on: March 20, 2013, 01:57:36 PM »
Hi,
I have a question about glucose and diabetes, shown in the picture below. Some guidance would be lovely, because I don't know where to start.

You will have to start by checking your textbook or class notes for what Benedict's solution is, what it tests for, and how it works.  Then you can try to make an attempt to answer the text in the image you've posted.  Try breaking the question into parts, and answering it point by point.

I understand Benedict's test I think but I don't understand what will happen if we have an excess of it?

Can you think of what might happen if you didn't use an excess?  That is what the question is really asking, even though the words used say excess. ;)
