So what exactly is the question from the book then?

Alright here is the whole thing :

Calculate the amounts requested if 3.30 mol Fe2O3 + 2Al --> 2Fe +Al2O3

a - moles of Aluminum needed (Answer from the back - 45.6g Al)
b - moles of iron formed
c - moles of aluminum oxide formed (Answer from the back - 679g Fe2O3 )

I don't understand, this makes no sense!!!

3.30 moles of Fe2O3 is 527 grams
6.60 moles of Al is 178.2 grams
6.60 moles of Fe is 368.6 grams
3.30 moles of Al2O3 is 336.6 grams

you cant answer moles of aluminium oxide as grams!!!!!

is this really what the book says??

Definetly something wrong there then, they are mixing up moles and mass (mol and grams).
