Condensation Polymer
« on: April 10, 2013, 07:21:16 PM »
Ok I looked on the internet and my book and I could not find the answer.

The objective says define and describe a condensation polymer and the polymerization reaction from which it formed.

I already know the definition of a condensation polymer but I do not understand the polymerization reaction from which it formed.  Wouldn't the reaction it formed from just be the Condensation Reaction or am I reading it wrong?

Yes, single step is just a condensation. This is what definitions says, doesn't it?
