Hi all,i'm trying to make a software ,some sort of a chemical library for a chemistry class and i was wondering if there are any free 'elements database' having the data of an element eg its physical properties, environmental and health impacts etc thanks in advance.

You can look each element up in a variety of sources -- Wikipedia, a comprehensive chemistry textbook, or any of the reference chemistry texts -- the CRC, Hawley's Chemical Dictionary, or The Concise Chemical Dictionary, which you can find in most libraries.

Thanks for the replies but i was hoping to get a downloadable file (maybe xml) then parse it into a database instead of doing it manually .These will however do if there isn't any
