So if I took 0.0035 and multiplied it by my number that would give me the final answer?

your work: "Cl2 is 2 x 35.45 = 70.90 grams per mole. The number of moles of Cl2 that has been consumed is 0.2485/70.90 = 0.0035 mol/s"

my work: 0.2485*2/3 = 0.165667
0.165667*180s=29.82

so final answer = 29.82 * 0.0035 ?

Nevermind, think I got it.

(0.2485 * 180s) / (70.9064*2/3*133.3411) = 56.08g AlCl3

2) 8.0x10^-3   *  3/2 = 1.2x10^-2 mol H2/s

Good?

Aha, now that looks a lot better. You got the right answer but I think you missed a bracket in there, it should be something like:

[(0.2485*180)/70.9064]*2/3*133.3411

Number 2 looks good too. Well done
