Who knows about making core-shell nanoparticles?

I am particularly interested in oxide nanoparticles. Anyone here have experience with these materials?

Here's a technical reference regarding them in general:   http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/technical-documents/articles/material-matters/inorganic-nanoparticles.html  Sigma-Aldrich often publishes these free app notes.  And the references are likely useful for even more specifics.  I'd also do a literature search on the authors for more info.

Ah thanks I always forget to look for those industry papers, they're generally way better than the journal review articles.

Ah thanks I always forget to look for those industry papers, they're generally way better than the journal review articles.

I really do like these sorts of free app notes, I get them mailed to me by Sigma-Aldrich.  The techniques look so straightforward -- makes me think I should be cooking up nano particles in my garage. ;D
