Can anyone tell me if aqueous base such as NaOH or KOH will affect the vinyl group of styrene.
If so, what about something like K2CO3 in organic solvent. Thanks!

I think it'll polymerize pretty fast.
Especially without inhibitors and above 20 C.
Hell, if you are lucky, you might even get an exothermic runaway.
