Good day

I have problem in waste treatment using aluminum sulfate for waste treatment in textile dying.
When the alum inject to the waste water, the foam would be appear in the surface.
Might anyone know the cause of the foam?
I suspect it appear from natrium (Na) in the waste. correct me if i mistake.
The problem we dont know types of chemical that they use for coloring.
