converting benzamide into aniline
« on: August 01, 2013, 03:43:50 AM »
Is that possible to do a Hofmann Rearrangement reaction (Br2+KOH) to yeild aniline from benzamide ? I read that its possible in the same manner which we apply on normal amide groups.
