Reactive And Protection Groups
« on: September 14, 2013, 07:25:31 AM »
Hi,
I am working on orthogonal synthesis of peptide.
I have 2 molecules:

1. X-(gly)-NHS (connection to NH2 on Bead)
2. FITC-Y

Y should react with X (reactive and selective) but not react with NHS, NHS-Ester or NH2

X dont react with NHS or NH2 But react with Y

do you have any suggestions for X and Y ?

B.c : I know that merrifield use BOC protection group. this is one way to do it.. but for BOC, I need to use TFA.. if I will find X, Y its going to be better..

Thanks
