Adipoyl dichloride synthesis (reference)
« on: February 25, 2006, 01:35:29 AM »
I have learned that Adipoyl dichloride can be prepared from adipic acid and thionyl chloride for Nylon 6.6 synthesis.

Can anyone tell me where or how I can find the original published data for the synthesis of adipoyl dichloride from adipic acid?

Thank you

Check the "Search: ACS Journals" block to your left.

You can also do it with oxalyl chloride and catalytic DMF.
