Does anybody know how to make hexane with a deuterium on a terminal carbon from 1-hexene?

Hydrogenations are possible using Deuterium (D2), however I've never known of an example that achieves regioselectivity such that the D is present only on the terminal carbon.

What is it you're trying to achieve with the 2D labelling at the terminal position?

Hint, I'm guessing the poster has been studying hydroboration.
