How many times more acidic is cider than..

Cider has a pH of about 3 and black coffee has a pH of about 5. How many times more acidic is cider than coffee?

Is it 100 times, 2 times, or 20 times?

Using logarithmic scale.  The cider has a pH of 3 and coffee 5.

Please don't answer a question with the word maybe as it looks like you have guessed the answer. Show your calculation and we can see whether or not you have got it right.

If I had 1x104 apples and 1x102 pears how many times more apples do I have? Twice as many?

Look up and read logarithmic scale, pH and ratio.  Then attempt the question.
