Hi all

In my building, we are having problems with a group of drunk, aggressive foreigners that have begun to hang out in our cellar duct at night. I had the idea to deter them with odour, I have tried spraying ammonia mixed with water on the walls and floor, but it only lasts for less than 30 minutes. It would be ideal for the smell to last a few hours or more, so the residents would not be bothered.

Does anyone know how to prolong the evaporation of ammonia or have other ideas for odour deterrents?

There are very few things that will repel sapient beings.  If they're going to be stubborn, then they will persist no matter what.  Even to their own detriment.  We're not in the business, on this forum, of sharing topics that include even the mildest of toxins or irritants.  This is a liability issue.  Seek out rational solutions.
