What is the corresponding alcohol of CH3COOCH3 ? It was said that the first part of the name of this ester is derived from the alkyl group of the corresponding alcohol.

CH3COOH + CH3OH ... CH3COOCH3
acetic acid + methyl alcohol ... methyl acetate
can we say methyl alcohol ?

An ester is formed when you react a carboxylic acid with an alcohol. So the corresponding carboxylic acid will "contribute" with the R-CO part and the alcohol with the O-R to the ester.

CH3COOH + CH3OH ... CH3COOCH3
acetic acid + methyl alcohol ... methyl acetate
can we say methyl alcohol ?

Yeah, I think so. I just say methanol though.
