I'm thinking of one question I haven't got any answer to. It's very known in general that NO oxidizes to NO2 in prescence of O2. I'm thinking of how rapid this reaction is; are we talking seconds, minutes or hours? I guess it's about seconds, or within one second or a few. Of course temperature plays a role in this reaction rate, my prospective is primary at room temperature.
