Looking for instruction book for Thomas Salter Chemistry set
« on: December 15, 2013, 09:03:17 PM »
Hi, I am looking for an instruction book that is missing from the "Laboratory 7"  Chemistry set made in Scotland, by Thomas Salter Ltd Glenrothes Fifi.

Can anyone help we finding it, perhaps you have it and a scan would be great. The company does not exist anymore as it probably stopped producing toy science kits in 1988.

Thanks very much in advance,

I got a message from billnotgatez.
Unfortunately, I don't have the manual.
This is the kit I had http://www.nationaltrustcollections.org.uk/object/662097
All I have left is the box and a couple of vials of chemicals.
Even the styrofoam is gone.
Test tubes cracked from heating them. So they are gone too.
I received as a christmas gift in the late 1980s.

Likewise, for nostalgia purposes, I have Googled for manuals to my Gilbert chemistry set.  There are some scans on some nostalgia web pages, but not the ones I should have been using.  Unless someone finds the documents and scans them, this info is lost.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

I would set an ebay search to get alarmed if such a booklet ever appears.

I have the instruction from set 1 which has 52 experiments and an audio cassette.
