tertbutoxide solution preparation

 ??? How does one safely prepare a solution of KOC(CH3)3 without any of the "highly flammable" & "highly corrosive issues associated with the base?

Run the reaction in a rigorously flame dried, clean flask under an inert atmosphere like argon or pure nitrogen.  It shouldn't be too difficult if you have done this manipulations before.
