Silver is getting Black
« on: January 30, 2014, 04:46:29 AM »
We are producing Silver against an industrial set up. The silver where it is stored is expected to have sulphur bearing componds such as SO2 or H2S etc. We feel that it is because of this reason that silver is getting blackish. May it be requested to forum colleagues to share some method to ascertain whether there is presence of these componds and obviously if it is like that then how to quantify these. Please also suggests some meaningful portable Gas analyzers.
Cheers
