Clarification on assigning symmetry labels for metal based orbitals

It's been a while since I've done this, so can someone please clarify if this is correct?

I will have character tables available, so I assume that I will be told the point group for a particular molecule, right?

After that, it's just a matter of looking at the left hand column and assigning symmetry labels from there for the various orbitals, right?
