Replacement for Sodium Metasilicate
« on: February 25, 2014, 12:10:54 PM »
I am working on reformulating an alkali detergent that contains sodium metasilicate.  We are reformulating this detergent because we are trying to remove colloidal silica from silicon wafers and believe that the sodium metasilicate is attracting the colloidal silica particles and increasing the number of particles on our wafers.  Does anyone know of a substitute for sodium metasilicate which mimics its properties and attributes/abilities?
