Equation balancing

Can the following equation ever be balanced?
I've tried with no success. ???

Thank you for your help.

KClO3 -> KClO4 + O2

THe numbers are subscripts.

No, it can't be balanced. I suppose it should be 4 on the left and 3 on the right, not the other way.

are you thinking of  2KCLO4 --> 2KCLO3 +O2 ?

No. I was looking for variations of how potassium chlorate could be broken down. Thank you for your help, though  :)

Then balance a reaction
KClO3= KClO4 + KCl
