Grignard reagent and aldehyde reaction

I've got the arrow pushing mechanism for the formation of G but I'm unsure how it rearranges to F with CH2Cl2 and HCl?

F is basic grignard reaction with an aldehyde what forms and sec. alcohol. In acidic envirement is this alcohol mesomer G and H.
