Hi

Can I precipitate Fe and Cu with this reaction :
CuSO4 (aq) + FeSO4 (aq)+2 Zn (s) = ZnSO4 + Fe (s) + Cu(s)

Then separate Fe from Cu with a Magnet ؟ ???

Why not try it? It might be possible to precipitate the Fe2+ by adding diluted amonia to your mixture and then filter it. Im not sure if it wont precipitate copper too
