Heating aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution
«

Can anyone tell me what would happen when heating a sodium bicarbonate solution (sodium bicarbonate + water) pls.
NaHCO3 + H2O ---> NaOH + H2CO3 ---> NaOH + H2O + CO2
Or
2NaHCO3 + H2O ---> Na2CO3+ 2H2O + CO2

You have to show your attempts at solving the question to receive help. This is a forum policy.
First things first - what would happen to any solution when heated up? Hint: tap water is a solution.
