Depends on your definition of chemical biology.

Very profound books are:
Molecular biology: Lodish, Watson
Biochemistry: Voet&Voet, Stryer, Lehninger

Thanks & what special books do i see, if i like statistical chemistry, & thermodynamics , biophysical chemistry etc...
