What sort of bond connects the carbon and the nitrogen?

What are the normal bond angles for this type of bond?

Pentavalent carbon? :)

I am a bit of a pedant for removing explicit hydrogens in chemical structures. I don't really like to see CH3 at the end of a chain. Not that there is anything wrong with it but when you have a C18 n-alkane I think they look out of place.

I thought that perhaps this guys prof was like me and wanted an expanded structure that looked tidy.

Man, I have had a bad week.

I was on vacation for 2 weeks and didnt think about chemistry.

Now I am back at work and have been stupid little things like this all week...
